PRO DASH

Let us introduce you to our TV star, the Pro Dash. As one of the more exciting and useful products were have ever built, this display dash seems to find it’s way onto more TV screens during races than any of our other products. Perhaps it is because of it’s stylish looks, mounting location, and use. Most times the Pro Dash will be mounted in the cockpit of a racecar, even though it is used by the crew chief more than the driver.

The Pro Dash was created as a means of viewing in real time the data being monitored by a Pro II data recorder. In addition to the ever present RPM bar the Pro Dash is capable of displaying up to 36 different monitored functions on its screens. Four sets of programmable displays allow the user to scroll between displays and view only those functions he needs. Commonly monitored items that are displayed include engine RPM, EGT’s, fuel flow, pressures, ignition timing, boost, plus water and oil temperatures. It features internal illumination for nighttime use.

The Pro Dash is a diminutive 3.800” tall x 9.385” wide x .625” deep. It weighs a mere 17 ounces including its carbon fiber mount.

The only negative aspect to the Pro Dash is the fact that at the present time it is only available for use with the Pro II data recorder. As a component made possible by the V-Net technology, future plans call for it to be adapted for use with the V series recorders too.
