V-NET
MODULES WITH SENSORS
DIGITAL

For
a function to be monitored on the V-Net the signal from that function must
pass through two components, a sensor and a module. The sensor is the unit
that actually measures the input from the function (i.e.: movement, RPM),
while the modules serves the purpose of converting and ‘conditioning’ the
signal from the sensor so it can be transmitted over the V-Net cable. Although
they can be purchased separately, for your convenience we have assembled a
selection of sensors and modules that are commonly used in conjunction with
each other. These module/sensor assemblies are pre-programmed for the uses
indicated. They are ready to plug & play.
The
following modules are equipped with sensors for digital functions. For analog
functions please see V-Net Modules with Sensor, Analog.
If
you wish to purchase the modules or sensors below separately please see Modules
Only or Sensors.
When
selecting an Engine RPM module/sensor assembly choose the combination that
matches the number of pulses your ignition system emits per cycle.
| RPM, Engine, One Pulse (typical two cylinder, four stroke) | 220-VP-TACH-1 |
| RPM Engine, Two Pulse (typical four cylinder) | 220-VP-TACH-2 |
| RPM Engine, Three Pulse, (typical six cylinder) | 220-VP-TACH-3 |
| RPM, Engine, Four Pulse (typical eight cylinder) | 220-VP-TACH-4 |
| RPM Engine, Odd-Fire Six Cylinder | 220-VP-TACH-ODD |
| RPM, Clutch (Zero Crossing Sensor) | 220-VP-CL-1 |
| RPM, Drive Shaft (Contact Closure Sensor) | 220-VP-DS-2 |
| RPM, Ring Gear (Hall Effect Sensor) | 220-VP-HERPM-1 |
| RPM/Speed, Front Wheel, (Contact Closure Sensor) | 220-VP-FTWHEEL |
