COMPONENTS,
CONVENTIONAL
RECORDERS
There
are currently three data recorders that fall into the group we call the Conventional
Recorder category. These are the Pro II, the Pro I-A, and the SC1000. These
recorders use a different method of acquiring their information from sensors
as opposed to those that employ the V-Net technology. Basically each of these
recorders uses a dedicated hard wire connection to each sensor, while the
V-Net transfers all of its sensors signals via a single cable.
