Monitoring
switch contacts to mark the occurrence of an event is a common method of collecting
data on a function. One of the most popular events that are monitored is wide
open throttle. All other data that is related to engine performance is somewhat
invalid if the throttle is not fully open, and this occurs more often than
you would believe. Racepak has created these carburetor bracket and switch
assemblies to help eliminate the guesswork about whether the engine was operating
at WOT. Each bracket has been designed to bolt to the side of the main body
of the two popular styles of Holley® carburetors. Use of a Wide Open Throttle
Switch requires an available digital channel.
