The PRO 1B Data Recorder is a downsized version of the PRO II. It has proven to be popular from Alcohol Dragsters and Funny Cars, Nostalgia Top Fuel Dragsters and Funny Cars, and other supercharged applications that use high amperage amgnetos with extreme cylinder pressure. Its rugged construction makes it ideally suited for vehicles that encounter severe tire shake.

The PRO 1B provides the basic functions required by all applications (engine RPM, drive shaft RPM, 8 exhaust gas temperatures) while having the capability of being expanded to suit each user's individual needs. It can handle other digital channels such as clutch RPM and flow meters, plus up to 16 analog channels. The PRO 1B also supports the Pro Dash, and can be upgraded to monitor ignition timing as well.
