Download these files ONLY if you are getting the following message when attempting to start the DataLink program. "The msvcirt.dll file is linked to missing export msvcrt.dll" This program will only work on Windows 98 and 95 and Me. DO NOT attempt to install this program on any other operating system. Installation If the PC you need to repair is connected to the internet perform the following: Click on the link below and select Open when the dialog box appears. After the file has been download the installation program will start automatically. Follow the on screen instructions to complete the installation. After rebooting your machine you should be able to start the DataLink program. If the PC you need to repair is NOT connected to the internet perform the following: This procedure will require 2 floppy disks. Mark one disk "DISK 1" and the other "DISK 2". Click on the DISK 1 link below and select Save when the dialog box appears. Insert DISK 1 and save the file to floppy disk 1. When the file has finished downloading click on the DISK 2 link below. Insert DISK 2 and save the file to floppy disk 2. When you have finished downloading both files take both floppy disks to the PC that needs repair. Insert DISK 1 and click on the Windows Start button and select run. Type A:MSV in the text box and click on the OK button. Follow the on screen instructions to complete the installation. After rebooting your machine you should be able to start the DataLink program.
