was looking at the TF demo file and saw that "fuel flow" was RPM but "fuel flow return" was GPM. Why is that?

Technically, the FUEL FLOW and RETURN FLOW channels are both digital RPM inputs. It was likely an oversight by the person who programmed the configuration file. The "Result Unit" tag in the channel definition window simply refers to the text that is displayed on the y-axis (vertical) on the Racepak graph. It will not affect the actual data value recorded, only the text displayed alongside the graph, where it would read "RPM" instead of "GPM".

If we want the reading to be Lbs per hour, is there a way of doing this. I was going to time, then measure the weight of fuel . I am talking about a carburettor 400 cubic inch pro stock car with an electric fuel pump. It is a VNET ID: Fuel Flow 301. The average rpm number in high gear is currently 485.
