Im trying to analyze 2 different car's data and load both .ddf files in, set distance mode, then set reference lap on my cars fastlap. When I go to other car's fastlap I cannot get the LapT_Difference to work, all it says is +###. Ive tried changing the 'ddigits before decimal point to' 3 after, and change min/max result value (usually that works!) but this time it wount go.

I can analyze any laps from my car without issue but cannot compare the 2 different cars. My car has the red G2X, other car has black G2X.

Any help would be appreciated. I can supply .ddf files or the .rpk files

Just going off memory as it's been a while but maybe try this?

Make sure you use the same exact track map file for both runfiles. Since your getting data from a different vehicle, you might have to specify the track map file for that session to be the exact same and have the same start finish line as well.

The cause is Datalink - it's a bit rubbish. Powerful, but excessively complex and only does what it should about 10% of the time.

Once you chanced from time to distance and back again 20 times, rebooted, re-did track maps, made sure they are using the same one, loaded a trace THEN done distance etc etc for 20 minutes and IT STILL WON'T COMPARE LAPTIME then you know it's a crap product.

Hopefully DatalinkIII will be much better. Tim and co are pretty scarce around this forum, so I'm hoping they're testing the new version right now. It's well overdue, and their rivals all have way better software these days.

Racepak hardware is still great though!
