Hi purchased a iq3 and sportsman logger of Australian distrubitor, wanting to know how to run a extra warning light for oil pressure other than whats on the iq3, very hard to focus on dash as it is not located in front of driver, which wire do i need to use to run a extra light.

One of the wires on the back of the IQ3 is an external warning light controller. I forget the pin number, but it's in the manual.

It is a switched earth, so run 12V to a light where you want it, and connect the other side to the wire on the IQ3.

You will also need to configure that warning channel to turn on the external warning, which is done via Datalink. You can also program a delay, so that tiny fluctuations that would trigger the warning are ignored if you so desire.

Tristan is correct on the setup..check out the wiring diagram in the IQ3 manual..should be around page 13. Pin 8, orange wire is the output for the shift light.
