The IQ3 data logger is designed for closed course (road racing) type of motorsports...vehicles that require lap time, lap numbers, etc. As such, it does not have software designed for drag racing.

I would suggest either the Sportsman or V300SD data recorder, which can be connected to an IQ3 display (non logger) dash.

Thanks
Tim

Did you purchase the IQ3 from us or from a dealer?

Thanks

Would you mind emailing one of our tech support guys, and they can discuss your options.

Thanks

I as well as many other members on yellowbullet.com(drag racer forum) use the racepak IQ3 dash in drag cars, it works great for drag racing and street.

It's not so much that the IQ3 logger is not capable of working within drag racing....as you can record and graph data regardless of the particular type of motorsport..as much as it is the IQ3 logger software is designed specifically for closed course..and as such does not have any drag racing related runlog pages, such as ET information, engine, etc. In addition, it does not include the driveshaft collar / sensor and RPM harness specific to our drag racing systems. By the time you add those additional items, the cost is more than the base V300SD data logger.

In terms of the IQ3 display, that product will work well in any form of motorsports and as you indicated for street vehicles, etc..as it is not dependent upon software.

Thanks,

Tim
