how do you set the the iq3 to start logging at about 1800 rpm

Bob,

You will want to open your config.
Right click on the IQ3 logger channel
Click on the dash info tab at the top right
In here locate the custom programming options box
In here you will see a line that says "Record enable channel"
click on this to high light it in blue.
Just to the right you will see a drop down box
Scroll though until you see Engine RPM x200
Click on that
Then go to the next line below that states "start recording when channel exceeds value"
here is where you will put in the RPM value you would like it to start recording at.
When finished Click send configuration in the bottom right corner. (Make sure the power is on and the serial cables are hooked up)
When done click ok then file and save.

thanks you dont get that kind of service from other data loggers
