 Post subject: Read/Send to G2X problem

Using Win7 Professional x64 and Datalink3.6 running as Vista Service Pack2

I open G2XConfig then Right Click on G2X Module or Wheel Speed and I can both Read and Send Configuration to the Red G2X Unit. If I do this with the Display Dash I get an error as shown in the Jpg attached. The G2XConfig File has been changed to set predictive Lap Time on Display 1.

Just realized what my problem could be. The dash has to be connected to the G2X unit. Tried it and it works fine. I thought that all the info was held in the Base unit and that the dash was just an output device. Guess not.

Sorry if I wasted anyones time on this.

No problem...never hurts to post the questions for others to see. The dash is viewed the same as an external sensor, by the config file..since it is connected to the same Vnet input as the sensors.
