Hi,

I have a G2X red box with dash display. When driving the dash will not display laptimes when crossing the line. I have the start/finish line set.

When i come back into the paddock the dash is fixed on on lap and one time only and will not allow scrolling through.

I have had this issue on multiple track with the same laptime always being displayed after the session. I have modified the config file and installed different config files with different track and setting parameters.

I have the lap view feature enabled in the dash config page also

Is the dash faulyt ???

Any help would be greatly appreciated

It could be related to what "display" the page is on. Power up the dash and look at the Display indicators below the left and right LEDs. Can you advise what the left Display is on (Display 1 or 2) and the right Display on (Display 3 or the other selections)

Thanks

Tim

Morning Tim,

Thanks for the response. When i power the unit the dash defaults to Lap # on the left and L.Time on the right. I have the user displays configured as such.

Disp1 - V-Batt
Disp 2 - Lat G
Disp 3 - Predictive lap

Thanks, Nathan

Is it possible for you to look at the dash, one more time...after you start moving (just driving on the street maybe). As soon as you move, does the dash stay on the default settings of Engine RPM and Speed? I want to insure it is not defaulting to another Display setting when moving.

Thanks
Tim

Hi Tim,

Just tried the logger whilst pushing in the driveway. (1 mph trigger) and the dash defaulted to RPM on the left and DISP3 (predictive lap) on the right. Whilst in 'logging' mode i changed the menu to MPH and then shut down the logger. I then conducted the same procedure and now the dash defaults to RPM and MPH. Once the unit stops logging the same display with one lap time still displays, but i haven't had an opportunity to run the car other than back and forth in the drive

Any thoughts ??

Cheers, Nathan

To double check your procedure...When you start moving at the track, you are pressing the left button and the SET SF message appears on the dash. After the SET SF message appears, you continue moving and when you are at the point to mark start finish on the track, press the left button for one quick blink of the shift lights. After that, the dash should return back to the Engine RPM and Speed display....and lap times should show up each time you pass SF>

Does the above procedure look correct in terms of what you are doing?

Thanks
Tim

Hi Tim,
I do do that for the first time at a new track. After that i create a new config file for that car and track. I then send that config to the logger before going to that track.

Hi Tim,

Do you have any more ideas or tests you'd like me to perform ??

Cheers, Nathan
