When I try to load my files into datalink II, its giving me the error, "You need permissions to upload from this hardware: Type:V300 Serial#:256"

What does this mean?

the G2X. my unit is about 4 years old.

Have you recently updated the software or changed anything in the download process? You are choosing the G2X config, for the downloaded data, correct?

I downloaded the data through an external unit. Not the serial cable through the G2X. I used to do this when I had a previous version so I don't think this would be a problem?

Can you email me one of the files off the memory card, so I can take a look?

Quick review:
1. Pull the memory card from the data logger
2. Insert the memory card into a card reader, plugged into you PC
3. Open DatalinkII
4. Select New Upload or the green icon in upper left corner of software
5. Located the G2X memory card drive on your PC
6. Select G2X_Config when prompted

At that point, continue the download process (track, year, etc etc).
