whilst trying to keep within the parameters set out in the installation folder ie mounted flat/directional and not within 18" of the ignition/coils etc,i find that the confines of a pro stock bike chassis dont allow this and the maximum i can get from my other electronics is 10"-11" will this cause problems and if so is there some sort of shroud/blanket that will insulate the v300 from other electical interference

That should work fine. The coils are the main concern. How far away are they?

I'm sure that will be fine. A bike ignition does not emit as much emi as a mag type. We use those guidelines for all applications.
