My engine RPM via the V300 and my tach signal converter are 700 rpm different and when I make a pass sometimes my engine rpms are so erratic that they are not useable, jumping up and down by more than 1000 rpms in miliseconds. Also my clutch RPM does not start until about 3 seconds into the run, I have checked for proper magnent alignment and made sure it was the correct polarity. I need help.

OK, What kind of tach signal converter are you running?
