Besides the SD Card, are there any other items that the 300SD will do that the 300 will not?
I read in a topic that engine timing is one.

I need to deside if I should sell my 300 and get a SD version.

Also, Can I just simply unplug my 300 and plug in the SD, upload softawre and go?

I was going to buy one of the new memory SD type cards for use with the 300 when they come out becouse
my lap top is 64 bit and my current memory card will not work. But I might be ahead to upgrade to a 300SD.

Thanks in advance,

Gary

Gary,

You pretty much nailed it with the ignition timing and all the SD card features..

The SD will also handle more magnets on the driveshaft collar (8 magnets max) vs. the non-SD can only handle 4 max.

As for other changes, the main harness and driveshaft sensor is different and therefore need to be changed when upgrading. They are included with the SD package.

As for the V-Net items, you can simply unplug this cable from the non-SD and plug it into the SD unit, as all these sensors will work fine between the two.

V300SD with standard Datalink software package $2231.00 #200-KT-V300SDS

Upgrade, Overall Ignition Timing, $625.00 #200-UG-TIMV300S

This assumes you are buying the V300SD brand new from us. If using an existing V300SD, the recorder must be set in to us for calibration...

See the attached .pdf files for more info..
