I have tapped into the ECU for the RPM signal, with help of your online support, we configured the speed ratios as well, and the RPMs show and record accurately. However, the gear indicator does not change from 1; any thoughts?

Thank you,

Fatih.

Fatih,

This is on a G2X dash, correct. So when you are moving and shifting, the gear indicator stays at 1 and you have GPS speed, correct? Could you post your ratios and we can take a look at them.

Thanks,
Tim

Tim:

Yes it is the G2X dash, and yes when moving and shifting the indicator stays at "1" and GPS MPH shows accurately. The speed ratios are as follows:

1st : 163.48
2nd : 96.31
3rd : 69.65
4th : 55.81
5th : 47.91
6th : 40.50

For reference: I am using 305/35/18 rear tires and stock gear ratios are:

3.31 :1
1.95 :1
1.41 :1
1.13 :1
0.97 :1
0.82 :1
Final Drive Ratio, 3.88 :1

Thank you for your help.

Fatih,

The ratios all look correct. Could you email one of your downloaded runfiles to me, along with your configuration file?

Thanks,
Tim

R

Typically not, since I believe that is a multi-point calibration sensor..that is each gear position will have a different voltage value, which makes it difficult to program.

Do you have details on the output of the sensor?

Thanks
Tim
