Wondering if there are any different beside just the power source and tech signal? So if using the haltech dash without the haltech interface cable, simply just put PIļ¼® 2 and 6 back?

Correct. You just need to get power and ground to the dash.

But on Haltech's website they mentioned the Haltech CAN interface module, is that just for Haltech dash?

The Haltech specific dash has the interface for the Haltech ECU built inside the dash.

What specific application are you looking for? We probably first need to determine that bit of information, then provide the details in terms of the correct product.
