Are these insulated from the electrics inside the dash? I'm thinking of using the studs as a convenient place to branch earth leads (and maybe the odd low current positive) from. Obviously don't want to short anything.

Looks to me like the inserts are moulded in and completely isolated from tge internals, but best to be sure.

Yes, those are just pressed inserts that set in a molded "pocket" in the housing..they do not exit inside the housing.

Great stuff! My second IQ3 installation is very exciting. Hope our new driver finds it as good on track as I do!
