I would like the get some info on a data system for my bass racer , will need to moniter the following ,
1. rpm 11000 with recall (12poll)
2. egt
3. fuel pressure 60 psi
4. water pressure
5. gps speedo recall 120 mph



my plan is to remove the existing bolt dowm dash with analog dial guages , this will add about 3 square ft to the casting deck , replace it with 2 stand alone monitors , my hummin bird 383 sonar with chart plotter ,and a racepack monitor beside it , and drop some of the lesser guages below the casting deck, fuel level, clock etc.

Is it possible to use any of the probes or sending units from the exitsing guages ? , also if there is a unit that will work for me , can it be bought in stages , first the visable parts to lay out the geometry and mounting , as i am also replacing carpet bezels handle decals etc.then add features a little alog as funding permits

when the boats is used for fishing ,it rarely gets more than an hour of run time per trip, but when its raced , even though it may only make a few 12 sec 1/4 mile blasts or some times 7 sec 800 ft passes , it stays in the water until the race is over you don't get to go back to the pits between rounds like cars do,

Per your post I would recommend you look at the IQ3 Data logger Dash $1495.00. This is a dash unit with a built in logging system that comes inc with: engine RPM, volts, GPS speed, 3 Axis G meter, and track mapping functions. All the data recordings go onto a micro SD card that can be viewed on a computer for data analysis. For the recall functions, the RPMs and the GPS, have a MIN/MAX recall function built into the dash but not a play back.

For the other sensors you are interested in monitoring we would have you purchase a Universal sensor module $199. To hook up your existing sensors for the pressures. This will work providing you know the scaling for them and they are 0-5V sensors. The EGT would have to be purchased from us though. The Single EGT would run you $179 for the module and sensor.

So to review you would be looking at the following parts:
