Hello. Is there a recommended coil wire length when using data aquisition? Big Block Chevy, rear distributor, and the sensors are all on the firewall. Do ohms matter with coil wire length and noise I receive ? Thank you.

They are much like plug wires in that you need to keep as short as possible. For maximum efficiency, we recommend the MSD wires, as they have the least amount of resistance while providing superior noise suppression...which is critical to data system usage.

Thanks

Don't they need to be a certain length to absorb rf noise? Several promods I help out with said msd tech recommended a minimum of 18 inch coil wire

Correct. 18 is a recommended length. If you can come in close to that, either longer or shorter, it will be fine.

Thanks
