Hi,

I have a ViPEC EFI vnet module (230-VM-EFIVIPEC) and according to the list of the 17 channels it can receive, (on the efi module listings and the instructions that came with my module) the 10th one on the list is 'wheel speed - 0x3B8'

I connected the vipec efi module to my logger and did a read config, it brought up ALL the 17 channels exactly as listed and in the same order, except the 10th instead of the 'wheel speed' its got 'EFI gear position x551'

Now i can change the Vnet ID to the wheel speed one, but under the sensor drop down it dosent list a wheel speed.

Is there a way to change this?

Wheel speed obviously is quite important to display and log, my normal sensor will be going into the ecu as i need it for launch control ect, so i need to receive this from the ecu and cannot wire direct into the logger or split the signal into both.

surely gear speed is no different to wheel speed
it will only sense 1 position per revolution

I assume 'gear position' is what gear your in? based on the speed/rpm as config in the ecu for gear based things like boost per gear.

It loaded automatically a min of 0 and max of 10 - sounds like gear position ie 1st, 2nd ect, not speed.

Did all of the other channels read in in the exact order as outline on the instructions with the Vipec module?

Thanks

Tim

Any idea if this is just a naming error or in fact the whole input is wrong?

I really need to know asap so i can know if ill have a wheel speed sensor or not (which i need) If not ill have to add another module ect

Thanks,

Brendan.
