I understand that #9 is VSS pulses per revolution and #11 is VSS pulses per mile.
I don't know how #9 is used for anything at all. If you know the number of VSS pulses per mile, what do you need to set #9 to?
For example, I know that my driveshaft rotates 3520 revolutions per mile. I don't know how many times my VSS pulses per driveshaft revolution. I could theoretically set #11 to interger multiples of 352 until I get the correct speed as measured by radar or pacing.
If this is possible, I don't understand how #9 is used for anything since I would have already known the exact number of VSS pulses per mile.
I'm also doing the 1 mile calibration on the dyno as well, but the dyno operator would like to know how #9 is used to calculate the speed. Otherwise I'm going to leave #9 at the stock setting of 16 and have him drive the mile for #11.
