IQ3 Dash

The new IQ3 Logger Dash merges Racepak’s single cable canbus sensor technology and proven GPS based data logging with a fully programmable display, creating a complete data center.

The IQ3 dash includes an internal 32 sensor channel data logger, while track mapping and speed is obtained by the internal GPS board and 3 axis G meter thus eliminating the need for an external data logger, beacon receiver and wheel speed sensor. No sensor wiring harness is required, as all external sensor data is routed to the rear of the dash by a single .63cm diameter canbus cable. The DatalinkII software included with the IQ3 dash provides professional level data analysis capabilities, but in an easy to learn format.

Universal Sensor Module Details

The UK version of the IQ3 package includes one of Racepak’s new bespoke four sensor input USM modules. This product allows the user to program each sensor input depending on the type of sensor. 0-5V analog inputs, temperature or RPM inputs may be utilized in any of the four sensor input locations. Each module includes a securely mounted O-ring lid and water resistant cable strain reliefs for severe use conditions while four molded mounting pads provide for easy installation.

This design allows customers to easily add Racepak or personally supplied sensors to the IQ3 logger dash. Each sensor input contains a five connector terminal strip located inside the water resistant housing. Earth, Shield, Sensor Signal, 5V Power or 12V Power can be utilized, depending upon the type of sensor utilized. Pre-defined calibration values are provide for Racepak sensors, while user defined calibration charts are provided for temperature sensors from various manufacturers. Up to eight modules may be connected to the IQ3 dash, via the single Vnet cable exiting from the rear of the dash. In addition, any standard Racepak Vnet sensor/module combination may be utilized by the IQ3.
