SENSOR KITS

Racepak Data Systems continues to provide products that meet the needs of our customers. With the introduction of our new multi-channel Air/Fuel controllers we have created a simple, inexpensive method of integrating air fuel ratio sensors with our V series data recorders, while insuring the same high standards of accuracy and quality you have come to expect from Racepak.

Through a joint effort with Innovate Motorsports, Racepak has developed some unique 2 and 4 channel A/F controller boxes. These controllers allow easy installation of either two A/F sensors using the 2-channel controller box, or four A/F sensors (enough for one V8 cylinder bank) with the 4-channel controller box. The controller boxes are designed for direct connection onto the V-Net system of any V300, V500, or V600 data recorder. Air /Fuel controllers are not for use with V50 V-Net systems.

Racepak Air/Fuel Controller Boxes use the Bosch LSU wide band sensors. The Bosch sensors are fitted with a dedicated connector that facilitates integration to the Racepak controller. External 16-volt to 18-volt switched power is required for the heating circuit. Sensors and controller boxes are sold separately.

These systems are applicable to either gasoline or Methanol fueled engines. Please specify which fuel you are using when ordering the Air/Fuel Ratio kit so we may pre-program the contoller for you.

When ordering please be aware that the sensors have a 13” pigtail cable and the controller has a 37” cable for attachment to the sensor. These lengths cannot be altered. Controllers are ordered by the cylinder bank layout. An appropriate number of weldment fittings and plugs are provided with each controller that is ordered.

To use the AFX Wide Band Air / Fuel Ratio system your computer must be running Racepak DataLink II software version 2.2 or greater. A CD containing the latest DataLink II version is provided with each kit.
